Take a Chill Pill
Christine Palmer uses walking as a way to decompress and take a break from her every day life. Taking time for yourself is essential as it keeps you sane and happy. You don’t have to take an epic journey either. When Chris isn’t walking the trails, she still takes time to chill out. One of her favorite things to do is go window-shopping, especially for hats and shoes. What is your favorite thing to do when life gets a bit overwhelming?

Two of my favorite ways to decompress are writing poetry/journaling, and listening to my favorite pieces of music. Also, watching reruns of great sitcoms boosts my serotonin levels! All of these activities have the ability to help me journey inward; I can journey to the positive and peaceful energy within that’s dying to get out in my day to day life. As John Lennon said, “Time you’ve ENJOYED wasting is not time wasted.” In my opinion, this time is in fact essential and never truly wasted. Glad to see that Chris Palmer has discovered this!
