Robbie Marshall

Like many people today Robbie had spent a large part of his adult life pursuing the material goals he felt pressured to pursue in order to provide for his wife and family.

As a child of the 60’s he had always felt that there was a way of life that offered more than the mundane. His desire to risk all in a bid for knowledge and exploration of our fantastic planet became too much and he left for a 51 week journey around the world.

In 2003 Robbie swapped his life in Brighton for a life in Spain and set up home in Almeria where he wrote articles about bikes and biking. In October 2003 he was involved in an accident on his bike and died three weeks later.

His spirit of adventure lives on and he will be missed by many people who had the fortune of meeting him.
