Russell Boyman is 42 years old. He spent 25 years in the cutthroat world of media buying before he decided to quit his job to go on his trip of a lifetime.

Russell has had a number of articles published in wildlife magazines and travel journals, and gives lectures on his birding adventures.

Divorced with one son, he now lives in Surrey, UK.
